River Patrol

Bob Rauseo of Tewksbury has been paddling on the Shawsheen as long as anyone can remember. Starting a movement to protect the river in the 70's, he has led hundreds of sorties to pick up trash and tires. The Shawsheen Watershed Environmental Action Team has a  quarterly newsletter that lists monthly clean up and canoe trip schedules. For more info click on the SWEAT section.
