Wildflowers along the Shawsheen

April along the banks of the Shawsheen brings skunk cabbage and nesting ducks and geese. May brings trillium and pink moccasin flowers. June blossoms in the marshes along the river include the dwarf blue flag iris.  July along the riverbanks finds indian pipes popping up from rotting leaves.
