SWEAT Clean-up in Andover

    An April 11th, 1998 clean up of AVIS land on the banks of the river filled a 30 yd. dumpster.  In August '98,three truckloads of junk were pulled from the riverbed between the Stevens St. dam and North Main St.,a quarter mile stretch, in Andover.The Shawsheen Watershed Environmental Action Team does a river clean up one Saturday a month, May to October.
